I was introduced to PPLSI in 2005 when a neighbor walked through the woods and explained to me there was a way to get my Will done. My neighbor then proceeded to tell me there was an opportunity as well. I was not interested in anything else at the time because I was working in construction and left before sunup and then arrived back home after dark many days.

Being a former business owner, I thought my plate was full. It was when I used the service to get my Will done and a document reviewed on a real estate deal that I knew everyone needed to own this service. When you use the service yourself and see the huge value it brings, this business goes from your head to your heart. At that point it becomes a mission for you to help others.

As Harland always said, “We make a living while making a difference!”

After a couple of years, I realized the renewal income is where it’s at. So my wife and I decided I should leave my construction job and take on this opportunity. Remember, if you don’t change your direction, you will end up exactly where you’re headed. With three children at home, the road has not been easy. This business is not easy, but I can say it’s been worth it, and I would do it all again. Callie, Mason and Madison continue to be my biggest cheerleaders. When I arrive back home from an enrollment or from getting someone started in the business, they are asking how my day went. Plus, they are always wanting to know how many new members I signed up. For those with young kids, make sure to involve them in your journey. Let them know what you are doing and why. Then go help people with the business opportunity and services. In doing so, you can show up for your kids by being there for their events when other parents are not able to because of a job!

At first it was hard because I would see my family very little and be gone all the time working during the day and building this business by night. But now I am able to attend all their school events and sports activities. I coached my son’s wrestling and baseball teams for several years, which I could never have been able to do without this opportunity. It’s one thing to earn a good income at a job, but it’s a whole other level to earn one from home on as-earned basis. Plus my wife and I have earned many all-expenses paid trips to places like the Dominican, Jamaica, Cabo San Lucas and Maui because of PPLSI and the Performance Club.

I thank my wife, Kirsten, for always supporting me and being the rock of our family. Thanks to the Home Office and the Group Marketing staff, especially for all they have done and continue to do for us in the field. Thank you to our team for all you have done and continue to do.
