In July 2004, I was introduced to PPLSI by a colleague. I was about to go skydiving and getting my Will prepared seemed like a good idea. I bought the membership and became an associate. I had a great career managing tennis clubs and coaching for the U.S. National Team, in fact I have worked full time since becoming an associate with PPLSI. I truly believed in our membership and consistently qualified for the Performance Club, but I wasn’t plugging into the system.

In June 2009, I received a life-changing call from Millionaire Club Member John Drennan. We scheduled a time to meet, and I began to plug into the system. Following that meeting, I reached the Executive Director level a few times, but it wasn’t until September 2011 that I made the commitment to myself, my family and the team to give 100% to the system. I was at our international convention when I heard Platinum Executive Director Steve Melia put out the challenge to go on a 90-day run. I took the challenge seriously and consistently have achieved the Executive Director level. I do so by simply helping others achieve their goals.

I have been able to take my beautiful wife on several honeymoons because of the Performance Club trips. We have been to the Dominican Republic, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and Maui. In 2014, I took my dad to Jamaica. In 2015, I took my parents to Dana Point for their 50th wedding anniversary — all because I qualified for the Performance Club and earned the incentive trips.

The journey to the ring and Millionaire Club has been filled with many ups and downs, but the vision always remained clear. I knew that if I consistently showed up with a good attitude, especially on days when I didn’t feel like it, great things would happen. I knew that if I helped enough people get on the path to achieving their dreams, great things would happen. I knew that if I followed the pathway set forth by so many and didn’t question whether it could work, but always knew that it would work, great things would happen. I knew that if I woke up every day with the mission that equal justice under law is not a myth but a reality with PPLSI and shared the mission with as many people as I could, great things would happen. I knew that if I found enough people who shared in this mission and taught them to spread the word, great things would happen.

I would like to thank every member of Team Ascent; without your support and dedication to success, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Thank you, John Drennan and John and Darcy Hoffman. Thank you, Harland Stonecipher, Shield Nation leaders, Circle of Champions Members and the Home Office staff for your efforts towards our success. My “why” is very clear; to my wife, Amy, and our kids, Tanner, Parker, Dylann, Annabelle, and Trinity, Bob, Sharon and Linda, you deserve my best, and I will give my best always.
